Answer format of "How X will describe you" ?

To answer this question I can use the format of
"X would say that I am ...." or "X would describe me as ...."
which of these 2 is better format and are there any more ways of formating the answer which require lesser words ?

I think either way is fine, but that you will get different answers depending on which way you choose to ask it. It's hard to describe, but it seems there is a subtle difference between the two questions.

I think the first one lends itself to one word answers.

X would say I am kind.

X would say I am difficult.

The second seems to want a little more expanded answer.

X would describe me as kind and caring.

X would say I am difficult to please.

Maybe just in my mind, but they seem a little different.
