Sure. Often my husband and I want to see different movies, so we find a couple that start close to same time and buy tickets for each. Then he goes to his and I go to mine. We meet up in the lobby when they are over. If there is a big wait, the theater is in the mall, so the one that has to wait "shops" for awhile. Works out great.

I do. Its nothing unusual for me.
When i was with my ex, we watched movies every weekend. We both liked it. After the break off, i became very lonely. Didnt know where friends were, what happened to them.. I then would browse the cinema site, book a single ticket. Go claim it, dont care who sits next to me.. watch the movie.. have a baskin and robbins and come back...
Its not all that bad!

Always: I've been to the movies literally thousands of times, and only about 5-10 times with someone else.

I have before...when I lived right by a movie theatre...would go in the daytime to the matinee.....but if you don't want to go by yourself, you need to get more friends...join some groups that enjoy what you do....then you won't be alone.

Yes, I always watch movie myself. It's quite a good feeling to watch the movie alone.

I haven't. That is to much of a public display of my loneliness.
I will go rent movies and pig out on comfort food.
I travel alone, I shop alone but I don't dare make myself go to a movie alone.

I went to see The Nanny Diaries by myself yesterday. Not only did I go alone, but I was the only one in the entire theatre. Very creepy!

I've been once because none of my friends came. I entered last, sat at the back seat, and got out first. The movie was great though, worth seeing!
