Well, when I was a kid I didn't like being told what I could and couldn't do.
So when I turned 18 I moved out.
That was 30 years ago.
My man doesn't "allow" or "not allow" me to do anything.
I was past that the day I left my parent's home.

Complain? No. Get upset? Sure I am human.
Better be good or a rational reason or I will do as I think is right anyhow. As I mentioned in the last question I answered, I have found that usually I know better. And this has been proven.
If I don't know anything, I keep silent until I have studied the matter in question.
Men who give orders belong in the military or somesuch, not in the home. Discussion and concurrence are what work best. However, when push comes to shove, I follow my conscience and my wisdom, unless it is something in which I know he has expertise. Morally, I follow my OWN way, that way of a decent honest human being.

I just compley. He is the man. He is the head of the house. He is the breadwinner. Therefore he makes the rules. I do not dare argue or debate with him. What he says GOES.

He would never tell me a *cant* do any thing. He would recommend that I not, but he wouldn't order me. Orders are for the bedroom, not the real world.

My man knows better than to even suggest that he has more than a friendly interest in what I do.What right does he have to give me permission,no one asked for permission!

My bf is not my father and I don't like it if he told me what to do. He doesn't become overbearing and demanding so I don't have to deal with that. I make my own decisions

He never tried to tell me not to do something, he knew better. But he would talk to me about why he thought I shouldn't do it or not. :)

He does NOT tell me what I can or cant do.
AND IF he tries to- I tell him how it is and I dont put up with any crap. Life's to short to have someone else controlling you.
