Well the answer would be no, we can not travel in time. It doesnt exist at all. Its just an imagination that we use to help us through our daily life. One could say, "well we have clocks and clocks measure time"
Clocks in fact do not measure time, we define time by what clocks measure.
The physical world goes on with or without the idea of time. It doesnt exist, but it sure does make our lives easier.
Time is not a NATURAL feature of the universe but simply a concept invented by our species to separate events into past, present and future. There is no Cosmic Master Clock that keeps track of absolute, universal time. There is no physical "past" trailing along behind the "present," nor any physical "future" waiting up ahead for us to get there.

Time travel into the future is only possible within the parameters of the time dilation theory. Time travel into the past is not possible. Your research is based upon fictional theories. Black holes are not time travel portals. When black holes were first discovered they were not clearly understood so some science fiction writers came up with the time travel idea. Proper research would show that a black hole is a star which has gravitationally caved in upon itself. It is just a ball in space with the same gravitational pull that it had when it was a star. You do not go into a black hole and come out somewhere else.

People would argue the proof that time travel is not possible is all around us, if it was possible would someone have come back in time and prevented the Titanic sinking ? Would they have prevented Hitler rising to power or prevented great disasters?

Theorist believe that in a black hole space and time become a singularity and thus cease to exist other than in that point so until someone finds a black hole and dives into it it's just a theory.

the only way to time travel using a black hole would be to orbit it, using its immense gravitational pull, and use it to accelerate, closer and closer to the speed of light. a black hole is nothing more than a single point in space with an intense gravitational pull. going "into" a black hole will not make you go to a different time. well, I guess it would if you count the time of your death as an actual time =) as mentioned by someone else, the only way to time travel into the future would be by time dilation, in which you travel near the speed of light, so time slows down for you. its the same as traveling into the future. there is no known possible way to travel backwards in time, but there are a few theories: see below

It is believed that traveling faster than the speed of light will result in a backwards turn of time. you look at an object, and that object obviously takes time for its light to reach your eyes right? so no matter how close that object is, you are not truly seeing it as it is. the vertical marker showing where I am about to type these letters is flashing before its light reaches my eyes. therefore, I see it as black while it is still actually white for about one trillionth of a second. you understand the basic principle? well anyways, I see a satellite orbit above the earth. it takes about a fifth of a second for me to see it. if I were to suddenly appear next to that satellite, and immediately suddenly appear here on Earth (because I'm not likely to survive If i stay in space very long, obviously), then I would travel about 2 fifths of a second into the past. from that satellite's point of view, things on earth also happened 1/5 of a second ago.

anyways, we do not have the technology to even travel NEAR the speed of light and into the future (the space shuttle would have to be juiced up by 37 thousand times to achieve the speed of light) let alone faster.

I love theoretical physics though =)

From your statement I am guessing you have traveled back in time, and want to get back to your own time in the future where time travel is possible.
No, time travel is not possible yet. Experiments have been done by a man named Tesla, but we can not control or predict time travel scenerios yet.
Hopefully your friends in the future will miss you and come looking for you, but otherwise you are stuck in our time for awhile.

Sorry to break the bad news to you.

I read this book about black holes, you make launch a time machine into a wormhole and it will take you to how many years into the future or past. But it is not yet possible...

Yah we can travel in time, but not in the theories we have created so far. We might not know a way but always if there is a will there is a way.

It's even simper than goring stated. If time travel was possible you would never die, you would have to be on hand forever to greet any who came from the future to see you.

Yes, time travel is possible. We are constantly traveling through it.

As far as getting to our own time goes, you're there dude, look around.

You would have a lot of dificulties if you were lost in time.
Imagine trying to find lost people ,it might taking a time close to infinity to find them. And some might be lost forever.

Its very vely simple
