I have set the dial to the lowest possible setting but it makes no difference. All the food has gone bad and will have to be thrown out. Their customer support is not helping so I will have to fix it myself but I do not know where to start. Is anyone familiar with Refrigerator repair out there who might know what the cause may be? The fridge itself is only 2 years old,

Ive delivered GE, and Frigidaire products for years. These two, in my opinion, had the worst exchange and repair records. Sounds as though the compressor has gone out. Pull the unit out, detach the cover on the lower backside. While the unit is running, touch the compressor very quickly, so as not to burn your fingers. If it is overly hot, then you have located your problem. Other then that, only other possibility is the thermostat. Common rule, if the cost of repair exceeds 50% the cost of a new one, replace the unit.
Rayco, at only 2 years old, sorry but im sure it is frostfree.

Call a repair company because you have a leak in the cooling coils, and the freon has evaporated. They will use a leak detector, and patch the tubing, then refill it. You cannot get freon yourself, so you really don't have a choice unless you replace the fridge.

Failure after only 2 years ? Wow.

I had the same problem with my apartment fridge... cleaned the condensor fan and grill and that fixed it right up:

Don't panic there is an easy solution to see if you need to defrost or replace. Oh damn I gave it away already> Yes first unplug the box and defrost it for at least 24 hours, then plug it back in see if it works better. if no change then you will need to call Sears hey deliver.

Good Luck
