I dig a couple of her songs, but, wouldn't buy a full cd.
she is an odd broad, that's fo' sure.

Bjork is odd and eccentric. She is one of the widest thinking of the currently popular people, but her music is essentially pop. If you like the music you can cope with her. She is so divergent she is one of the few people in thte west who completely integrates the J sensibility of art without being condescending: which makes her one in a million. Up to you if that's a good thing.
The music is sometimes really danceable, wakes me up and given all the samey rubbish around at festivals, something different at least.

I loved her...back in the day. I have not heard any new good stuff from her lately. The most I have heard from her is that she beat up some paparazzi person, and wore a swan to some awards show. She needs to put out some new music..if she has...it has not reached the Midwest yet (like everything else)

I'm not particularly fond of her music, though some songs I like. I like the fact that she is who she is. She doesn't make excuses for herself and she doesn't conform to what everyone else thinks she should be. Because of that, I like the woman.

I'm not a fan of her music, but it's refreshing to see a singer that is not like one of that fake plastic dolls. She's unique, and that's valuable in itself.
