Ok, so I was wondering how many people out there have been propositioned by someone wanting to have an affair. You see yesterday I was at work and this guy that works there that is 26 and married (I've met his wife) asked me out! I was a bit shocked because I'm only 17. Anyway has anyone ever flat out asked you to have an affair with them even when you've met and talked to his/ her spouse?

First off....dont bother telling his wife! I can promise you he will feed her some bull about you having a crush on him( being a teenager and all ) and that you are just trying to retaliate/ make trouble because HE turned YOU down ( men like that are pigs and wont hesitate to lie to save themselves ) Second....it has happened to alot of us ! I once heard it said that " A man is only as faithful as his options ".

Yes, several time. There have been approximately 4 different men who have asked me to have an affair. They figure that if my husband wouldn't find out then i would be ok with it. There very wrong, i would never do anything to hurt my husband. If i wanted to sleep around i would have never married in the first place..I am not sure if all of them were in a relationship but i know two of them were and they were also my ex's, one of my ex's was even asking me to divorce my husband and marry him. I was like hell no, would never happen your an ex for a reason!

I am assuming that you are sure that he was asking you out for intimate reasons and not possibly as a friendly lunch. I am glad you said no, but at the same time it seems like this fella is going to try it again somewhere else. Yes, I have been asked by other females outright to have an affair. I haven't.

Good for you for saying no! That guy is a scuzball. 26 year olds, married or not, shouldn't be hitting on 17 year olds.

I can only say that over the years, I've been hit on twice in office situations. Both times were really weird. I had no attraction to the women who were doing this, and I think they were married, and I KNOW I was so NO WAY! Sorry!

You made a wise decision by declining the offer. Yes in my country it is very prominent for married men to have affairs. Once we as women play our path and respect the other woman ie. the spouse life would be so much better.

Been there done that and so have a few people that I know. It does suck for the spouse seeing they have there trust in this person they are married too, but what are you going to do????

Not married...I am the one that was propositioned.

Yes, everyone has.

Here's a little word of advice from a woman that has 16 years more life experience than you- NEVER mess with a married man! YOU will ALWAYS come out the loser and the one that is hurt.

Mark my words on this warning too- and if you DO mess with one, and his wife finds out in even the slightest way, HE WILL DUMP YOU AND RUN BACK TO HER WITH HIS TAIL BETWEEN HIS LEGS! TRUST ME!!!

Good luck to you!!!! Stay away from dogs like that! You deserve BETTER!

Yes, I have, and although I was shocked, I just politely told him no. The worse part is that he is a friend of my DH's, but I really didn't make that big of a deal about it. I have to admit that it did make me feel good knowing that I still get looks!!

Yes and the quickest way to shut that down is to ask him if he has approved it with his wife, because you sure would before you went out with him on the first date.

Happens all the time. Guys are always trolling for chicks. Marriage has no effect on their attitude.
