...and I can't sleep....any ideas on filling in the time in an educational way?

Perhaps to find web sites I can download with a quiz or copying writing styles, or....

be positive this is a serious question.

Read a long novel, say like Lord of The Rings get you so engrossed you won't notice the time going by. Crossword Puzzles and composing anagrams out of long words, all you need is a pen and paper.

Read a nice novel, best way to make time fly!

Crossword puzzles are also good brain exercise.

If you have access to the internet, then there are loads of things you can do online, one is coming here on Y!A ;)

If you do bring a laptop aboard, and you get bored, you can always activate a word processing program and write a short story, or get started on a novel. That always gets my brain ticking.

Or come here and answer some questions with what you know.

play cards - solitaire
watch movie
listen to music
chat with the passenger on next seat
get drunk..........
