no doubt rollins in rizzuto region. he has more power and speed than young.
while the statistics are comparable between these two jeter wins with intangibles in the ripken region. jeter can lead and carry ateam like he did with the yankees in '06. also guillen is moving to first base next season so it is hard to consider him in a best shortstop competition

Offensively? Defensively? Both?
If you're talking all-around, then I'd go with Rollins and Jeter.
If you're just talking defense, then it's Rollins and Carlos Guillen. Derek Jeter had some good fielding seasons, but he's terrible now to his right. And his zone factor and fielding range have really taken a tumble.
