Don't worry hun, it is completely normal. If you were to ask around I would bet $100 that you would find similar stories.

The same thing happens with guys and their testicles. Some are bigger than the other, some hang lower. Nobody is perfect, or perfectly symmetrical all the time.

Don't worry, it's completely natural. Give it time and you will even out.

You have a right to be concerned - it is usual for your body to grow a bit differently. However, you said that the difference is about a cup size. You should definitely go see a doctor - if for nothing else, so that they can make note of the size and shape of both your breasts and then have you come back in several months to see how things are progressing.

There's a book called "Please Stop Laughing at Me" by Jodee Blanco which you might want to find. The author had a condition where one of her breasts grew rapidly and healthy, but the other did not. I'm not saying that you have the same problem at all, but it's a pretty good book and very appropriate for your age.

In the mean time, look for padded bras and ways that you can "fill" the cup of your smaller breast - it's no one's business but yours. You doctor may even have some suggestions, don't be afraid to ask.

Best of luck!

Its normal for the body to grow a-semetrically. Virtually no one has perfectly balanced anything--ears are usually not level, eyes either for that matter--and boobs do grow at different rates. Usually, the discrepancy isn't noticible to other people--unless you talk about it alot. But things will even out as time goes by. Unfortunately, this is something you have to wait out--you can't DO anything other than wear good supportive bras (not 24/7 of course) and relax and wait. You have a few more years to go yet before you've settled into your young adult body. Good luck!

Niki,
It is almost certainly just the normal development of your chest.
Asymmetry is common, and even noticeable asymmetry as you describe is not rare.
These things tend to even out over time.
There is a tiny chance that some other mass like a watery cyst could be contributing, so if it will make you feel more comfortable, ask you GP or practise nurse to have a check.

Don't worry yourself, but if you want more reassurance, that's the way to go :)

I have fitted custom fit bras for over 20 years and it is very normal for one breast to be a different size from the other. as much as 2 cup sizes difference. A custom fit bra or lightly lined bra will help improve your appearance and make them look more uniform.

However; if it is drastically different or you are experiencing tenderness, discharge or lumps, I would go see a dr asap. These can be signs of other things that could be causing the difference.

Its normal. Its also very normal to be a whole cup size different.

Since you sound very worried talk to your doctor about it.

You'll either fill out eventually (you grow in the breast into your 20's) or you'll have to consider surgery (mine were uneven until I turned 32 when I had a breast reduction).

I really don't think there is a problem. But if you are concern ask your mother to take you the doctor. They will probly tell you the same thing. Your breast are like your feet one can be bigger than the other

Probably go to a doctor to make sure that there isn't a problem in your breast. You could be growing something other than normal breast tissue there or have an infection. Get it checked out and then you won't have to worry.
