I think I bought my wallet when Christ was still a Choirboy.

I don't carry a 'wallet' any more ... I carry a 'large change purse' that has enough room for folded bills and change, and a small pocket on the side for the cards I need (I carry only four cards ... ID, debit card, grocery card, and tip calculator) ... and I usually carry a 'tiny' purse that I can carry on a long strap that goes over my head and hangs down under the other arm. It's easiest for me, since I have rheumatoid arthritis, and can't walk if I'm 'off balance.'
My husband has a wallet that is in it's third year (I gave it to him for Christmas) ... and the ONLY reason it's as old as it is is because I went to get him 'the best possible wallet' and I paid MORE for it ... it cost over $50, but it was 'well worth it' ... it probably has another two or three years before I'll have to go get him a new wallet ... but I will, because otherwise he'd carry this one until the day he dies ... he's a 'guy' and 'shopping for purses/wallets' is not something that he enjoys ... but he LOVES to go shopping for MY clothes, and he has a 'better eye' than I do for that!

No tri-folds for men. Too much bulk in the pocket.

Get a bi-fold with lots of slots. Ignore the "value" of the plastic picture holder. That thing falls apart.

I have a 10 y/o wallet by Bally (over $100 - yeah, I know my wallet costs more than what's usually in it) but it still looks new and works great.

My wallet is around 8 years old. It still looks good, and fits against my bun just perfectly! I have found that the best wallets are the designer types (Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica), and are WELL worth the few extra dollars that you pay for them! They're not really easy to find, except around the holidays when they are plentiful.

Well I'm a teenage girl with a shopping addiction so maybe it's easier for me. But I just bought a new black patent leather wallet. But my last wallet was about 4 months old.

My wallet is almost 2 years old. It's American Eagle corduroy. I also have bought several guys I've dated leather wallets from AE and they last a long time. They're good quality.

I have been carrying a DAY TIMER 'wallet'...long and narrow...since about 1980 or 81...They are great...has a day by day note book inside for keeping up with things I've done and have to do. One of my Sunday school kids nicknamed it my IDIOT BOOK years ago. The one I have now I think I've had since 1999...ordering a new one this year.
Check out the web site maybe for DAY TIMER.
