I've seen it, but it was a looong time ago. Matthew Broderick hasn't changed a whole lot has he? Some jealous ****** placed a curse on the lovers right? She was a hawk by day and he was a wolf by night. and Broderrick was the servant type person. Rutger Hauer was the wolf. He was also in Blade Runner, an awsome 80's movie.

One of the few times Rutger hauer was not the villian of the piece and showed he could be a decent hero lead. I liked this film alot, though I found Matthew broderick still a little "Ferris Bueller's Day Off' smart aleck for the role. He could have been toned down a bit.

And Blade Runner's Rutger Hauer as Navarre. A somewhat lightweight film with a nice romantic story and humor ably provided by Matthew Broderick.

I wouldn't say it's little known. About everyone I know under the age of 45 knows it. I own it on DVD. It is such an amazing film, so much going on, and so much that stays with you. I remember screaming at thetelly when I was probably 8, because he was going to kill him without realising about the eclipse. it has stayed with me a very long time. Loved it. LOVED IT. Loved it.
