Our gas isnt working, so no using stove, oven,and no hot water. We paid our bill in fact we have a balance due tomorrow of $24. Does anyone have any ideas on why it wouldnt be working?

I know calling the gas comp. is the obvious thing to do and i've dont that but they cant come out until tomorrow i think they said. Thats why i was asking for now

Certainly the gas company can tell you if they shut it off without having to come out for heaven's sake.
Other than that, you're dealing with gas here, tell them you smell a leak and are worried, they will be right out, they have to. I know that may not be exactly true, but if you are so sure you weren't shut off, I would be worried. I wouldn't want to have my family in house where the gas obviously isn't working right

Sounds like service was cut off. Look at the gas meter and see if there is a lock on it. Calling the gas company is the best thing to do.

It doesn't require any special tools to turn off or on- a large crescent wrench will do it. It may have been turned off by mistake, or there may be a problem with the gas system- (i.e. -pressure regulator or meter). Your best bet is to wait for the gas company.

Am not sure but i think the best idea is to call up the gas company and ask them whats wrong! Sorry i wasnt much help! Good luck!

They need to come out and turn it back on.
