I need to say this..but I don't wanna end it in a preposition.
Basically, the sentence needs to say, "another example is someone i used to have to be around"

Some good answers so far.
You have to use different words to avoid massacring your sentence, which would end up (if you used the current wording):
"Another example is someone around whom I used to have to be." Needless to say, that doesn't work.

I hate that rule about not ending a sentence with a preposition.
It makes sentence structure so awkward at times.
That is one rule up with which I will not put!

That in itself isn't a complete sentence- I mean, the "Another example is someone I used to have to be around."

But, you could make it a complete sentence. For example:

Someone I was formerly friends with is another example of a person whom has had influence on my life.

"Someone whom I had to spend time with, as another example"

If this ends with a preposition, then I'm sorry, I don't think there's a way you can do that.

someone I used to have to be around - kill the phrase entirely.

Are you trying to say, someone I knew or someone I used to spend time with?
