Yes I know what he did.. Don't condem it either. But these women if that what you call them got DUI(S), could have killed someone, each have done it more then once. What sentance did they get, 30days, 1 day or 82 mins in jail. I don't see MAAD making t-shirts with their faces on it, or loves ones who have loss someone to drunck driving. They get a slap on the wrist, and kiss on their BOO-BOO sent back to us in the free world to keep doing the same until they do kill someone.Vick will feel the wrath for not killing someone by driving drunk, but his part in dogfighting and gambling.

I've seen and heard worst things people have done . We have leaders who have lied, cheated and have committed murder, but Vick and his skin color will be the scaptgoat.-

I not defending him if you read my question, which I guess some of you did not... I heard the "girls could have but did, that's a lot of crap"... Where he messed up at is that he got caught. Color does have a point in this .

Maybe he should have just got a DUI. People hunt all kinds of aminals even though it is legal does that make it right? No animal should but hunted for sports or killed for profit but it does and contiune to happen. So while you leave your answer think about your, friends or family that do or know someone who hunts as a sport. What make them so differrent for Vick and the dumb things that he got his self into.

That is the biggest load of crap ever! Skin color has nothing to to with a federal crime! No one is being racist here but you. If Vick got a DUI, he probably wouldn't go to jail. Steve McNair didn't!

Michael Vick is NOT the scapegoat. He is negotiating a guilty plea. He will do time for the crimes that he committed. Lohan, Hilton and all the others should be treated like any other person that commits these offenses. They should be spending more time in jail and they should not have drivers licenses for many years.

There is nothing wrong with hunting if it is done with the proper intent. That intent is to hunt for food. Eat what you kill. Those who simply just go out to kill animals so they can put a trophy on the wall are only better than Vick in that what they do is legal but not necessarily better morally.

I think what lindsy and Hilton and whoever else did was wrong but heres my point we are all bitching because they only got 30 days in jail and blah blah blah, but in reality some of your freinds or relatives that are cought driving drunk get the same exact treatment! Somone in my Family had been caught 16 times !!! with DUI and still he is driving! I was in court the other day getting a license and while I was waiting some girl was bitching about how she had to spend 3 days! in jail for a DUI. Cmon people! we are all bitching and complaining saying stars should get the same treatment and in reality they are. We just want it to be more harsh on them because they are role modles. And as far as Vick, he abused animals. He took animals and inflicted bodily harm on them. Hilton and lohan didnt hurt somone and they should be thankfull for that too! but thats the point They DID NOT hurt somone. The legal system cant live on ifs and buts. Only soceity can. Vick sat there and he took those animals and followed through with produceing a harmfull envirment and wastched as they were harmed by his own handling. thats what happened and thats what the state and county laws have to go by. Its no use complaining about it unless you are actually going to step up and do somthing about it yourself. But when you do go on a rant think about how your peers are treated also because i have been there in many circumstances where the sentance for a DUI was just as shallow as all these celeberties.

Okay -
Lohan and Hilton are idiots and just got a slap on the wrist because it is just a DUI
Vick's crimes were a violation of federal law, honey
Below are some links to images that show what Michael Vick did in reality to "just a dog".
I sure as heck wouldn't waste my time defending a monster that treats animals like that. ( you do know, that cruelty to animals is a sign of a sociopath don't you- yea I'm sure Vick is a real sweetheart)
Was it his skin color that made him chose to break the law or was it is brain?
Stop blaming everyone but the criminal- you're not doing him any favors denying him the opportunity to be responsible for once.

ADD: Comparing hunting to dog fighting is almost as stupid as saying Michael Vick is getting jail time because he is black.

You people are retarded. Especially the people who say he (Vick) should get life in jail. Nobody gets pissed off at Carl Malone for killing animals and sticking them on the wall (which I have no problem with). Quick being hypocritical of similar situations. Your telling me Vick should be thrown in prison for life, yet a hunter that kills deer for fun and tacts the face on the wall is not in the wrong?...Lindsay Lohan who has had 2 DUIs, one which involves a wreck, and cocaine should get more prison time than Vick! Oh and what about the guy from prison break that KILLED a minor! He is getting 90 days in jail and he will be free. Now your going to sit here and tell me Vick deserves to go to prison for life for killing dogs; makes no since. AND the guy above who talked about Lenard Little is right on the nose! Little KILLED a woman…let me run that by you one more time…KILLED A WOMAN while drinking and driving and served no time. No to mention, a year after that incident, Little was arrested AGAIN for DUI and severed no time…He plays in the NFL to this day. So I say again, you people that think Vick is this Awful person, you are FU**ING retarded! He made some mistakes and he will serve his ungodly amount of time in jail and he will be back to playing football. Quit hating on individuals because you like to see the guy on top go down. Nuff said on my part…I support Vick and will write him while in prison…there are much worse things in this world than what he is going through. I could sit here at list a million things people are in the wrong for and get away free…

I think Lindsay Lohan, Paris, Nicole, etc should have gotten a lot worse punishment than they did, and it IS surprising that MADD hasn't made a statement about it (or maybe they have, and I didn't hear about it). However, what Michael Vick did was downright malicious and cruel. I realize that driving drunk can and does kill people, and it's completely wrong, but I don't think that people drink and drive w/ a malicious intent; they do it b/c they're just plain stupid. Vick purposely hurt and killed innocent dogs for pleasure, money, and status. He is truly a bad person at heart for what he did.

It's because of the cruelty of the act. He specifically bred dogs to savagely harm each other. He was also directly, physically cruel to the dogs.

The Hollywood skanks who get DUI's have gotten off easier because people view that crime as more of a weakness or simply poor decision making rather than outright cruelty like torturing animals.

Please don't make it a racial thing. Several years ago, Leonard Little, a football player for the St. Louis Rams ran a red light and killed a woman while driving drunk. He got no jail time, just probation. Little is black which kind of blows your theory a bit.

People don't care about real issues like whats going on in Jena Louisiana with the whole Jena 6 ordeal (look it up). Or the the college bound New Jersey teens that we're lined up in a school yard and shot in the back of the head excution style. We just want to talk about whats easier to bash someone about, something we can harp on to make ourselves feel better.

Oh yes, Michael Vick is black - well, big freaking deal!! If he had been white, you'd be on his a** like you say the rest of us are on Vick's, and it ain't about his skin color. Give me a break! ...and you don't condemn people who train dogs to kill each other? Or did you not know that in the state he is in it's a felony? I bet you'd feel differently if whitely did it and got caught. You know, you have a serious character flaw that would have made you exceptionally qualified to have served on the O.J. jury. ...and, with your remark about leaders who have cheated and lied, or you saying you honestly had a problem with Bill Clinton?

It's because often people care more about their animals, than they do other people. Plus, many whites view dogfighting as as something coming out of the professional athlete/hip hop world, which they most likely know little about, so they fear it. If Vick had committed this crime in Los Angeles instead of Atlanta, he might actually have a better chance of getting even less prison time.
