I just started taking 50mg of Clomid last night being my first dose. My doctor started me on day 8 of my cycle and I was wondering how soon would I ovulate? Would it be a couple of days after my last pill or while I am taking the doses? Also when would I start intercourse would that be right away or should I wait a couple of days? I would have asked these questions at my fertility office but I felt so overwhelmed with information that I totally forgot. Thank you so much for your help ladies.

You can ovulate 5 to 14 days after taking the last pill. I am on my second cycle of Clomid. I take mine days 5-9 and I ovulated around day 19 last cycle so it was about 10 days after the last pill. You need to chart your basel body temps and use OPK's to help determine when you will ovulate. Also you may not have as much cm. I didn't have as much as I usually do. I would start intercourse about a week or so before ovulation and my doctor said every other day is fine. If you are using opks then start intercourse when you get your first positive. I am going to use opks this cycle in addition to my charting to help me better predict ovulation. Good luck

Well I took clomid 50 mg for the cycle May 30-June3 through cycle days 2-5. I didnt take any for june cause we said that we wasnt gonna try any more. I got pregnant in July. So I will say to you to just be patient and dont stress. Cause stressing will hurt you more than you think. Also stay off all those preggo sites and yahoo answers cause it gets your mind wondering to much and when nothing happens you get stressed out and dissappointed. So I wish baby dust to you!!!!

I would start intercourse the day after your last pill. I usually ovulate 2-3 days after my last pill. I would suggest you have intercourse every 2 days until 2 days after you ovulate. make sure you have intercourse the day you ovulate though no matter if you just did it the night before.

you are to ovulate 5 days after your last pill, my dr reccommend clomid to me and I did clomid 100mg for 1 cycle, I am hoping it worked this round
