I do that a lot... I lost my dad when I was 14. And sometimes I have dreams about him, and I dont want to wake up! I wish he were here... I miss him so much.
I have a little diary that I write to him sometimes... either when I'm having a good day or sometimes when I just need to let something out. He always seemed to help me with my problems, even if he didn't give me the answers, just talking to him and explaining my problem to him seemed to help.
I was daddies little girl... cancer took him too soon! But I definately know what your talking about... every birthday I still wish I could give him one last kiss and hug, even though I know it wont happen, I just wish I could!

Yes Yes and Yes. I close my eyes for that specific purpose. I know he will never be with me physically because he passed away long ago but I can feel him with my eyes closed....

Since the person I loved the most happens to have died a few years ago, yes, and in some ways they will always be with me.

I have always imagined God with me when my eyes are closed, but when i open up, i do not see him. But i know he is there, and someday, wether it be sooner or later, i will see him, meet him, live with him, love him, and be together in the heavens forever more. God bless us.
PS - i also imagine you with me, all the time, but we live so far apart, sigh :(

There were times, during the war, that I would lie awake and imagine that my wife and sons were asleep near me.
Then there were other times that I was so grateful that they were at home safe.
But now we're back together and everything is fine.

yes. my girl friend who was going to marry me was killed in a car accident 1 month b-4 the wedding. to this day 20 years later i often imagine she is near me.
