The fact that is daughter will not support him and has said so PUBLICLY is very significant (contrast that to the position of Mary Cheney). Sure, families disagree, but normally--in this situation--the children would remain uninvolved. We do not normally see children actively campaigning for their parents unless they are older and richer (the Romney gang of boys). Perhaps she cannot support her father because she really does know him too well. His leadership on 9/11 was good, but grandstanding and brief. Ask the NYC firefighters. Now he claimed he was exposed to the same environmental hazards as they were--until he retracted and said he "misspoke"--a word used frequently now days. Those statements used to be called lies. Maybe she doesn't support him because she doesn't know where he stands on abortion or gay rights. He is not the model of consistency. Being tough on crime is not the attribute of a president--that's an Attorney General's job. If his children do not support him because of his multiple marriages etc. I would expect them to stay silent, not oppose him.

We shouldn't trust Giuliani.
It has nothing to do with his daughter, but with the people he's hiding behind as well as his political policies that just prove that he's a flipping idiot.
Take a look at his 'shining moment'--9/11. He's telling the world that he's a natural leader, a hero of 9/11, he was there with the people at ground zero.
B.S.!!
He just got thrust into the camera lens and crapped his pants. He wasn't at ground zero, he had the health department hold back on their findings of the air quality for God knows what selfish and self important reason.
The people he claims to have lead? The police force, firemen, rescue workers, ask them what they think of Giuliani, I think that should give you enough of an answer.

We all know Guliani did a good job as NYC Mayor. He brought down crime alot blah blah blah. But if you watch the debates Guliani is a lot more right wing then one would have thought. I agree with you If Guliani's own daughter dosen't trust him enough to support his campaign for president why should we? ( I mean I would think she knows him better!)

just because she isn't supporting her dad by wanting to vote for him doesn't mean she doesn't trust him, or that he may not make a good president in her eyes.
I think it looks better for him actually, to prove that she has her own opinions and wants to support another candidate.
I think it looks more odd that all of Romney's sons are supporting him and helping with his campaign. Can't any of them think for themselves?

I have to assume that all is well with your family, and everyone loves everyone else, and no one ever does anything to hurt, embarrass, or disappoint anyone else in the family? Oh, not so? You do have hurt and disappointment in your family? Well, then, why would you not support any candidate, judging on that criteria alone?

Many daughters don't agree with everything their father thinks. My father is conservative and my sister is liberal. If he ran for office, she wouldn't vote for him either. I love my liberal mother but disagree with her about politics. I don't think she would do well in elected office so if she ran, I would not vote for her either.
People should only vote for him if they agree with his policies. Not based on his kids or anything else other than the issues.

she and her brother Andrew have an ax to grind b/c he left their mother. they will do anything they can to embarrass him. I expect their incestuous porn video will be coming out right before the primaries.
you can't take away the fact that
a-he is a born leader
b-he did more for NYC BEFORE 9/11 than any other mayor
c-have we forgotten 9/11 already??? the city and the whole country looked to him for guidance.
