Every day there are multiple examples of this and soldiers doing their jobs with no causalities helping Iraqis rebuild their country, talking to children to show them how our country cares for them, etc. But the mainstream media will never cover this even on a slow news day. Just yesterday Pelosi came out again showing the Democrats will still vote for defeat even if all reports of the surge are favorable. They just don't care because losing is better for their political future.

Its not surprising at all. The news is a business. That story won't sale. But then again how often have you heard any real stories about any soldier being killed over there. You get a 5 second blip on the nightly news saying what the totals are. The war in Iraq is old news for the news. I mean how many people in Iraq died the day Paris Hilton went to jail. Did you know we had a Nasa launch the day she went to jail. The news is not about the facts anymore it is for entertainment purposes now.

This is a clear sign of our winning this war, the citizens are taking an active role to help the end in a positive way.
And you are correct, the networks are not going to say anything positive about Iraq.

Not suprised at all, the msm has no desire to inform us of any good deeds out of Iraq. That man is one of many Iraq citizens that are heroes. His father is very proud of him, and pointed out that this was normal behavior for him.

Good news is no news to msm. They only report bad news because almost every media elite has BDS. They report nothing that may make the war or Bush look good.....

It's funny, when they analyze stories of Iraqi citizens that aren't closely aligned to Muqtada Al Sadr, the people actually seem to like us!

No, I am not surprised. The media doesn't really count the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians. Very sad.
