from and email account listed as shahin_192@hotmail.com. How do I find out more information about this email or who the owner is, or even a profile? All it said was "hey" and to be honest, I am a little suspicious, but need to know for sure. There hasn't been any other suspicious activity, I checked his temporary internet files, and all seems fine, I checked his message log and there's 2 legitimate texts that were sent, but the inbox is cleared out. I want to know if this was spam or actually someone trying to contact him. How can I do this?

Send that address an e-mail, as who it is- tell them that you got a text from that address and were just wondering. It was probably a wrong number. Don't worry- it's when he starts leaving the room to talk on the phone, picking fights with you and staying out all night that you should begin to worry that there is something going on!

First off, why would put somebody else's e-mail address on here? That's not cool. Second off, I would be suspicious too. It doesn't seem like that would be spam. Why would his inbox be empty but the sent box had messages in it? He may have deleted the inbox, but I would be wondering why as well. You should have replied back and said "hey" just to see what he/she said.

You could look at this from two sides:

One, you have no business in going through his phone, if you love him there shouldn't be any reason to not trust him. Now your doubting what you have.

Two, I text my guy friends "hey" all the time, 1-10, its a female saying whats up to yo man, might want to check that out.

Now, this is where is gets even harder, work up the strength to go to him and ask is he either seeing someone/ is it serious or is just a friend, a friend that you better know. Get my drift. Wake up susta, they fool us once, shame on them, they fool us twice, shame on us.
Hope it all works out.

Also, check on myspace.com, put in the email and it will show exactly who she is, if she is on there. Or you could always call the number from whence she textd

GOOD LUCK!!

I have received text before that were not for me just like getting a wrong number. If you are on the calling plan call your provider, and ask for a detail list of call he has made and received.

text them back...see what they say, lol! it's probably a wrong number...do people text to certain phone numbers, is that how it works? I don't know...hubby and I have cell phones but we don't text people...don't need it... could be spam, or they texted the wrong person... you can check profiles on msn for this "shahin_" person...too... good luck!

If all you have is a text that says "hey" it sounds like your a bit insecure with yourself. You need to let this go, and ask yourself, what is it about you, that you don't trust him.

Blimey, Sherlock, you've been thorough. Is there some reason for the detective work? Do you go through his pockets when he gets home from work?
