When you say kept away, do you mean, kept away from any other world as well?
If so, the answer is that his mind would rot and he would lose his ability to develop the necessary conceptual basis underlying our higher thinking and reasoning centers.

If he was allowed to interact with a completely foreign world, his thinking would be marginally different, but strikingly similar with regards to the development of the conceptual system.

yes cause
at least 50% of thinking depends on our surroundings and our interaction with others. this plays a major role in character deloplment.
no cause
man too is an animal, certain fudamental thoughts are said to be in the head even before birth. these thoughts are said to be resisitant to environment. certainly this is how some people turn up to be enlightened from the very world we grow thiss is so coz they said to have a predetermined perspective towards life which we lack.

Yes. That's why thinking is different in different cultures and societies. But bring him back and he will adapt and adjust.........and may change his thinking or influence others to change theirs, depending on who is mentally stronger.
