Does anyone know how many weeks pregnant I would be if the first day of my last period was July 16th? I am pregnant but I am curious ho wmany weeks I would be... An online calculator says 6 weeks but 6 weeks ago is when I got my period so I am confused.

You would be 5 weeks, 4 days as at August 24th.
Pregnancy is usually dated from the first day of your last period, unless your periods are very irregular (more than 40 day cycles).

Pregnancy is calculated 40wks from the first day of your last period. So the first 2 weeks there is not actual baby, but for the last 4 wks you have been 'with child'!
Its a strange concept but it calculates at 40 weeks including the first 2 weeks.
Actually according to my calculator you would be 5wks4days pregnant and due on the 21 April 2008

6 weeks. They add about 2 weeks to it because they don't know the exact date of conception. We usually ovulate 14 days from the first day of your period. So in reality the baby is about 4 weeks old.

5 weeks and 4 days.
It is always taken from when you had your last period so for the 1st two weeks or so you aren't actually pregnant. It means you concieved approx 3-4 weeks ago but as not everyone can pinpoint when they concieved then its easier to take it from your LMP.

Its calculated from the first day of your last period, so they add 2 weeks to the babies age. Its weird but the online calculator would be right.

5 wks 4 days!! I am 5 wks 5 days!! My last period was July 15th and my Doc gave me a due date of April 21 so your s would be April 22!! Congrats!!

it could have been your period or it could have been an implantation bleed.i am 9 weeks and that would have been i got prego the end of june and i had a bleed that lasted for about 3days in june.how long did your period last?
if not that long then it wasn't a period.congrats!!!!

6 weeks is correct. they consider you beoing prego the first day of your last period. do yes you are 6 weeks prego. Congrates and have fun!!
