My mind was made up about this as soon as you mentioned the CDs. Music CDs are a luxury expense. They aren't necessary. If she were really having severe money troubles (and make no mistake; there are a lot of people who are right now,) then she'd probably be cutting costs in that area, and probably several others for the purpose of making end's meet. I encourage you to sit down and talk with her about her money management if you have time. If you'd still like to help her out, then I suggest that you start setting conditions on anything that you lend her, and definitely nothing more for luxuries, unless she's willing to give you some form of collateral in exchange.

you know i think people are selfish i asked to borrow this guys credit card and he refused. i also have tried to borrow husbands, underwear, abc gum, money from the church, a prescription pad from my doc.. i could goon and noone shares..im not shocked someone wontlend you their eye, the bastards
