If my understanding of augmentation is correct that is. Thats where they perk them up right?

Does medical insurance cover all of this? My back and shoulders have been hurting for some time now.

Augmentation means you're getting them enlarged. You mean a breast lift. I think they usually kinda reshape your breasts during a reduction.
Ask a doctor. As for the insurance, ask your insurance company.

A reduction reduces your size, therefore there is no augmentation. SOMETIMES women get an implant to maintain a perky look after the breasts settle, but it is rare to see that. But 99% of the time it is a reduction with a breast lift.

Insurance can cover a breast reduction with lift, it covered mine 100%.

If your doctor states that your breasts are causing back and shoulder problems, your insurance company may cover the cost. The best thing to do is to check with your carrier.

Augmentation is where they insert breast implants. I think you are referring to a breast lift. A breast lift if often done in conjunction with a breast reduction.

Highly unlikely that the procedure would be covered by standard medical insurance. Possibly, but you'd have a fight on your hands.

Best of luck,
