I beloved Athens yet I replaced my recommendations after what a spirit advised me with reference to the Greek Bulgarian conflict of Thessaloniki. It became the liberation of Thessaloniki. Very wonderful for the Greek military!

Athens is beautiful, it has a great nightlife and millions of things to see and do. I love visiting friends Athens at least 2-3 times a year.

Thessaloniki is love at first sight. It cannot be explained with words...It's a feeling growing from deep inside.

Thessaloniki has the best food, particularly sweets. But now most major pastry shops of Thessaloniki have opened branches in Athens too, so let's call it a tie.lol.
(Sorry, I don't really judge the places by the food, but I just needed a way to create the isopalia).

Both. Athens for some of the sights and as a gate way to the islands and ...Saloniki for a better grip on what Greece is all about.
