Bush hit a low for me when he wanted to grant amnesty to illegals. If I were ashamed of my vote I would have to be one of the mainstream types and I would have to have regrets. I don't regret anything I have done in my life. Bush isn't perfect but I know that under his leadership I have obtained more in my life than I ever have.
***You are right....maybe not with the moron reference BUT how do you and I know it's not because of some of his policies? Give the man some credit at least. You may not like him as much as I might but something's working here.

No, personally I don't know anyone that is ashamed to admit. Maybe because due to the lack of other candidates that wouldn't screw the country up, like Kerry, is why so many people voted for Bush. And for the candidates today I am still not seeing anyone that is worth a nickel to be President.

I am ashamed that anyone ever voted for him, I didn't I tried to get others not to. Why be ashamed after 2 terms, wasn't the one bad enough to begin with? I didn't just not vote for Bush because of him or his party, I didn't vote for him the second time because you never try to stack the deck like that and when you see it always try to unstack it. It gives balance, it gives reason, it gives fairness and often nothing happening is better then the wrong things being done in an out of control way because someone has the power and control to do it. Think balance always!

I know two who are ashamed, and have admitted as much to me. All ribbing aside, I feel sorry for them, and for anyone in such a position. I think they feel like dopes, and I don't really know what to say to them.
You know, a lot of people voted for that man because they love our country, and they care about it; it's pretty difficult (at least, for me) to knock them for having the same patriotic feelings about our country that I have.

Are you kidding? I'm proud to have voted both times for Bush. Gore or Kerry leading the war on terror? There would be no war on terror. They both think the environment is somehow more of a threat to my well being than a guy holding a gun at my head. Please.

I'm not ashamed.
But thanks to the huge numbers of democrats who refuse to admit they switched parties and voted republican - that GW got in office.
My sincerest thanks go out to you!

Yeah, George has made some mistakes, but the loudest democrats/liberals complaining about him more than likely voted for him and are mad as hell about it.

And I mean that sincerely.
