It's Friday, and I have finished work for the week and am off to the gym later to pump iron and have a lovely sauna. My also lovely partner has just contacted me to say that he is in port fairly near and so can get home on Sat. for just one night. Great! BT have just text me to say that they have found a fault on my line and will repair it (no phone for three days now) so have to hang around for that , but so far all is well in my world. How about you?

Well my week end will not be as exciting as yours. I am going for my first solo flight as a 70 year old pilot, Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon, I will take my first jump as a beginning sky diver. If all goes well Saturday evening will be spent in the woods with my grandchildren on an overnight camping trip in a mosquito infested swamp. Sunday in church, I will ask for forgiveness for telling all of the lies I just told you.

Hi, Shan! Well, being as the humidex is supposed to stay up above 40C all this weekend, I think I will just be chilling on the computer or reading in my room (where I have a lovely big ceiling fan over the bed).

Enjoy your time with your sweety (sure wish I had one), and don't let BT get you too down! (Mind you those servicemen are some of the best eye candy going!)

A.M. going with wife to Navy commissary, getting my hair cut.
2 P.M. going to an Eagle Scout ceremony for a boy I taught Bible study to and was in my AWANA (see www.awana.org) group several years ago.
Between 6 - 8 p.m. going to a viewing of an old friend who passed away. We called each other COUZIN because we have the same last name...whole reason is a long story.
Sunday: Picking up 5 ladies and a GENTLEMAN from the assisted living apartments for church; teaching my 3rd/4th grade class for the last time...all 'moving up' in September. Singing in the choir. Take the folks home.
At 2 p.m. going to a memorial service for my friend Jim with an international singing group we both belonged to.
At 6 p.m....maybe...going to evening service.
Maybe I'll cut my grass some place along the line and make some whoopy, too.

Going to a Pub quiz, a barbecue, the races and a nice gentle stroll around a lake. You have heard it before but however did I find the time to work? Life just gets better and better.
That's a rhetorical question and you don't have to answer it, but do so if you wish.
Oh and have a nice weekend.

If it's not too hot, lots of yard work. Maybe get a few hours in out at the beach. Still up in the air, but no special plans. Enjoy your two days off!

Hi Shan, hope the A & E was quiet this week.

If weather permits, I hope to start planting my fall mums and buy some spring bulbs to plant in September or October. I kind of want to get to the Mall also.

I've planned on making some jam and chutney, but if the sun keeps shining I'll have to shut the doors and windows to keep the wasps out! I'm allergic to the little blighters' stings.

Not a lot...At one time I would be looking forward to jumping up at the carnival. I was even thinking of visiting a cousin in Brighton but..... I might go play a game of bingo though.
To be honest...I just enjoy being at home on my computer.
Sad isn't it?

Think of struggling to find Yahoo Q&A- becoming very difficult an d boring with the white card of Mozilla showing " server www.yahoo.com cannot be found. They tell you there are lose connections-such tricks we all know of.Fortunate that I do not own the PC ( my Kid's) else I would have taught them a memorable lesson -how best to fool people on the web.And where you find the depth of shame in all ?Is it when they call themselves search engines ?
