I already applied to a uni and got accepted, I should leave in a month. but people say I'm too young to be going to the UK by myself and living on my own and that its too dangerous there. I'm from malaysia and I'm going to Manchester. What do you think ?

No, that is not too young. Plenty of people live alone once they finish high school. I'm Malaysian as well and left home at 17 to go to Japan for a year. I now live in Europe.I know how Malaysians can be ;) But really, once you're there, try to go out ,do things by yourself, travel and don't limit yourself to fellow Malaysians or the Malaysian club;)

Have fun in Manchester!

people who say this..they just say it because they still see u as a child and want to protect u.
it will be a great experience for u to live by Ur self and study in England
take care and hope u will be OK

No no it's not!
I'm your age and leaving this Monday for uni in England as well!
Instead of being scared, just think of all the new people you get to meet, and the new things you get to try.
If you don't like it, you can always transfer to a place closer to home :)
My parents weren't too cool about it at first- but I kept telling them all the good points about studying abroad and they eventually warmed up.
Now they're just as excited as I am.

You'll be fine. You'll be in a university with hundreds of other people your age.
