Creating a state under any religion is called a theocracy, even if alot of people in this country want it, its still very unfair to the tens of millions of people who arent Christian.

I think a Christian State is a wonderful idea, as long as it follows my model of Christianity.
First, there will be no more formal churches as I believe these are not in line with Jesus's teachings. The positions of leaders of a service will be assigned by drawing names out of a hat. This is how the earliest Christians services were conducted.
Then, we will teach the docterine of re-incarnation as Christ clearly teaches this (you must be born again)
We will have absolute passivism. No military or participation in any violence, particularly the death penalty.
We will legalize marijuana as God created us to have free will.
We will indocterinate the absolute equality of women.
There will be no private wealth over a given amount. Earnings above that point will be returned to society in general.

It is very dangerous. Europe was ravaged by religous wars for nealy 300 years. America was founded on the seperation of church and state for no small reason than the ravages that took place in Europe.

I agree with "Fancy That" that a Christian state is a great idea. Unfortunately, her view is a perverted one and so she, and all those who believe as she does, must be purged from the utopia I envision.
Do you see the danger here?

There are pros to a theocracy? Wasn't the search for religious freedom one of the reasons we fought our war of independence?
