Yes. I have seen one man beaten to death at the end of my street, with feet, punches and a hammer when I was around 8 years old, by about 10 other men. I hate to be graphic, but blood was coming from his mouth, nose, ears and eyes. I have also seen a few people who are already dead. I live in a rough area you see. I saw a young mother who had OD'ed on heroin, her baby was crawling around her legs crying when she was found. I was around 6 at the time and it is one of my earliest memories. Death is a horrible thing to witness. God bless.

Yes. In my job, I've seen many people die. In some cases, my function is to only keep a patient comfortable until they die.
It's always sad, but only in some cases, unexpected.

Yes. Many years ago I was 11-7 charge at a nursing home. The death shift. You have to get outside yourself and give them what they need.

Yes, with my elderly mother. I couldn't let her go alone, so my sister and I stayed with her till the end. The most loving thing we could have ever done for her, to hold her and tell her how very much she was loved.

yes, my middle child. He was born at 18 weeks at home alone, after five days of my water breaking and no attention from the doctors...I was sent home every time.
