I'm a knitter. I knit all the time and have several projects
going at once. I have been knitting most of my life, having
learned to knit as a child. I sell what I knit and also teach knitting at Michaels. I belong to the local knitting guild. I also draw and paint, do sudokus and crossword puzzles, and love dogs.

I love music. One of the hobby I enjoyed the most is playing the piano. I am not an expert but I like to feeling of playing it. It nourishes my soul and heart. I feel relax and calm. As an extension to that, I also like to sing and write songs. Again, I am not an expert nor have I published an album yet, I just feel great and I enjoy it and will not feel bore about it.
Another craft hobby I like the most is wood crafting. I used to craft poems on woods and give it as a gift to my friends. Apart from the wood crafting, I also like to use “white cement” to make figurines. I display it at my own house. I do give away sometime.
I like writing as well. I like to write short articles on travel. I did not travel much, I got all the exciting information from travel books from the local library. It is very exciting to read about places and later write a short article on it.

Woodworking.
Upholstering.
Sewing.
Crocheting. (Never could get the hang of knitting!)
Cooking.
Baking.
House renovating.
Landscaping.
Writing.
Computer games (usually puzzle type, or word games).
Reading.
I have had to cut out most of the physical hobbies I used to do because of my arthritis, and I still miss them terribly....
Running.
Walking.
Dancing.
Hopscotch (was a doubledutch master at an early age).
Gymnastics.
Baseball.
Hockey.
Broomball.
Soccer.
I really should take up Archery and competitive shooting again. I don't think the arthritis would interfere TOO MUCH with those!

#1 Writing. Gardening, short day or 2 day trips, volunteering, playing the stock market (I seldom gamble), research, being a cheapskate. The cheapskate is the most fun because I go out of my way to really make it happen. I also do Yoga, walk a lot and do what I was always told not to do like talking to strangers.

I restore automobiles and houses. Right now I am helping to restore a 1959 Edsel with my son in law. It's fun and gives me an appreciation for the mindset of those who designed, manufactured and bought things in days gone by.
Restoring Victorian property to it's original grandeur gives me a sense of accomplishment and I feel I am preserving a little piece of antiquity for generations to come. That is it's own reward.
