Hi Emma, you certainly ask some interesting questions, Most expensive items eh! Well the most expensive single item was a diamond ring I bought for my wife, after putting up with me for thirty years, I think she deserved it! Holidays to the Far East and South Africa also cost a lot! but they were for both of us. (I don't wear diamond rings often!) GRIN*

I don't have a car or a house!! The most expensive thing I've ever brought are my plane tickets to New Zealand, stopping off in Hong Kong, Australia and Bangkok. I leave in 6 weeks and am so excited!!!!

My late partner and I bought some art together. I would say the most expensive piece was an original, signed Matisse lithograph that we paid $26,000 at auction. It is probably worth at least $100,000 now. I also own a Miro etching in about that range.
