Your life. You spent the time and the talent and labor of your life to make money. If you inherited the money, then somebody else spent his life to make it, and lost his life so that you could have it.

It costs the same to produce a thousand dollar bill, as it does to produce a one dollar bill.
I have never seen the actual cost of a bill in print, or for coins for that matter.
