She made a statement (i think) saying that she wasnt with him so they could have called her to court to go through that but she was sticking to her story so it wouldnt have done them any good. Her telling the truth now will mean he could go free.

They could only make her if she had previously made a statement to say that she was with Warren the night Clare was pushed, which she didn't.

I bet Russ will forgive her anyway

No,because she was denying that she had anything to do with Warren so it's not like they could have forced her to go and give a statement.Like with Justing it was on his own accord whether he wanted to go or not 2 days before when Katie asked him but he chose not to.
