A horizon line is definitely a horizontal line and that is the first one I thought of as well.

In drawing there are basically 9 lines with variations:

Describe a line in nature you see everyday.

Horizontal, vertical, diagonal,zigzag, dotted, dashed, curved, wavy,and jagged.

I already have the Horizion line, but I can't think of more.

sensitive lines, trembling lines, expressionistic lines, bold lines, thin lines, defined lines, crumpled lines, hairy lines, directional lines.. Google Elements of Art, - Lines.. You will be able to see it all..

vertical - The corner of a tall building
diagonal - tree branches
zigzag - the impression a snake leaves as it slithers
dotted - white field flowers growing alomg side the road
dashed - a lightning bug as it flies
curved - the shore line of a lake
wavy - A cat's tail as it moves
jagged - a row of alligator teeth

A vertical line because plants grow UP.
