Blogs are a good start for you if you don't feel like showing your work to anyone. There are plenty of sites which host blogs...try them. Also, if you feel you are poor, you can definitely improve with time and practice...keep in mind that ''practice makes perfect'' :) ....and all the best !

sahil k. Im afraid if it's money your after you will never be rich. Take a leaf out of Robert Service's life. He was financially secure, as he was one of the worlds leading poets, but he had other things going for him. you should read some of his stuff, espesially his later collected verse.

If you want to share your songs and poems, you should search different websites. Many allow you to post songs and poetry for free, so others can view them.

after you are famous sell your poems
conecentrate on your songs
" try making friends who are into music and make a smll recording " then just go to some music company personally or online and have them listen to it. they pay good for songwriters

If you can afford to be online, you can afford postage to submit your writing to paying publications. A single small sale will fund many more submissions.
