Neither. I use ibuprofen, a heat pack or you could make your own: A clean tube sock fill with rice and tied off at the end. You can microwave it over 50 times and you even get a nice popcorn smell...but it works wonders. Avoid lots of salt 2 week prior to the time of menstruation and high in greasy foods. Drink plenty of water every day and you may not even need any pain relievers again.

No. I know cramps! Back in the 70s and early 80s I had to be given IV meds that put me to sleep on the first day of my period every month. It was HORRIBLE! Use Advil Liquigels. MUST be the liquigels. If you know when it is coming, take one or two for a couple of days before it starts, then take 2-3 when your period starts. Try it. I have started so many girls on Advil Liquigels that the company should give me a free lifetime supply.
