You obviously did not think when you presented this question. The Nuggets bench is not deep enough for a championship run this coming season, nor do they have the defensive toughness it takes to win in the playoffs. Take into account the fact that the Spurs educated them once again on what it takes to win!!!! Nuggets may have had the best defensive player in the league last season in Marcus Camby, but Tim Duncan proved to be too much for him to handle almost every time they go against each other. Denver also has a problem with their scouts. They do not know how to scout good, consistent talent and make them better. If they won't take the initiative to fix these particular flaws, they'll be lucky to make it to the second round. Kenyon Martin will be pretty much a non-factor this year since he hasn't played in quite a while. The two most outstanding scorers in the league were pretty much contained by the Spurs and as long as the Spurs keep their core together, Carmelo and Iverson will pretty much find their scoring mediocre at best!!!!!

Right now, every team has a chance. But the Nuggets? A great chance? No, but they probably won't be mathematically eliminated until the third or fourth week - sorry, that was cold.
The Nuggets need a few miracles to even make the playoffs, let alone win the championship. Teams in the West I see ahead of them include: Spurs, Suns, Mavs, Jazz, Rockets - maybe Blazers, maybe Hornets, perhaps Warriors.

No. Now that the Celtics have an ultimate team and the Spurs are like the best team(but I like the suns better) in the league the nuggets have no chanceof winning their 1st title this year.

No...With George Karl as their coach they will never see a championship.. He is team cancer, he creates these fantasy aliances with members of the team and begins talking bad about others on the team. He shouldn't be a coach...He needs to be in rehab...everyteam he has coached, once he leaves they are in terrible shambles...He is Team Cancer...If I were the nuggets get rid of him before Carmelo becomes a nut case like Iverson.....

As long as San Antonio plays the way they've been playing the last couple of season's, I don't believe that Denver has a chance. They have the talent to be contender's but with all the powerhouses in the West, doubt it.
