you have to forgive people so that they forgive you later, and above all,for god to forgive us as we forgive ourselves.
ALWAYS FORGIVE AND FORGET.AND YOU'LL BE THE HAPPIEST HUMAN EVER....IT'S FOR REAL.

Some times it depends on what the situation is. But, it is said that it is better to forgive because it will ease your mind and make you feel better. Forgiving yourself is sometimes the hardest, but I highly recommend trying to forgive yourself. It will allow you to lighten the load you have placed on yourself and move on within your life. Is it not always easy to do any of this. Forgiving self and others takes a bit of work, but it is well worth the effort. Forgiveness doesn't always mean you have to let someone back into your life -- it is just a stepping stone to moving forward and getting over bad situations.
Do I easily forgive and forget? Not always -- sometimes it takes a bit of work.

Learning to do that is one of the most difficult things one needs to do in life. I think as you get older and presumably wiser, you realize that to forgive and forget is a very important thing to strive for. You learn that first the poison destroys the container it's in. I've actually gotten to the point that I automatically issue a 'free pass' in my mind to a person who hurts me or does me wrong. I have learned to make an excuse for their bad behavior in a way -- it's the quickest way to get past it! I just figure if they lash out or do something that's not nice -- it's probably not really personal; perhaps something else in their life has gone wrong and they are dumping on the wrong person. If it turns out that I actually did do something to cause the person to be upset with me, I take responsibility for it and apologize. It's so much better for everyone involved to move past all the little stuff of life and really look at the big picture. As you mature and you realize how much better life is when you have a forgiving heart, you learn to get to the 'forgetting' part faster. Magnify the good, minimize the negative drama.

No not always I'm not going to boast about what is not true. I just know I can always freely give a hand to the one who needs to know the truth. And as for me if I don't forgive right away with my lips, I will know at least I will have forgiven with my heart and asked God forgiveness for whatever dispute I might have had.
