Creation Myth is a myth that describes the origin of things (most often the whole world itself) It describes how deities crafted everything and how the methods they deployed are used to explain natural phenomena (e.g. Rainbows, Storms etc)

Creation myth is myth that explains creation of earth, sky - first beginning of all things. Creation myth is the most often considered to be "cosmogony" - creation of world or universe and almost every culture of world have it. Opposite of creation myth is eschatology, which can be myth (but also religious or philosophical theory) about end of the world, or ultimate end of humanity. Creation myth is answering on questions such as: What is origin of the world? How was it created?
In Greek mythology, find and read myth about Chaos and Geia (In the beginning, there was Chaos....than you will see how chaos becomes order).
I don't have knowledge about myths from other cultures, but by simple search you will see that there are Egyptian, Japanese, Chinese, etc. creation myths, so you can find them too.
Bible also explains creation of world, but I wouldn't identify it as myth, since it is religion, not mythology, but this depends on your personal beliefs and attitude towards this, I guess. Anyway, this is from Genesis 1:1-28:
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day......."
As you see, everything that you find on this subject will begin in same way: "In the beginning...", but the rest will be different, depending on the source that you will use.
In your project you can explain what creation myth is, and it would be nice (if you can) to put some quotes from myth as an example. Good luck.

Just to toss in a few more - the Norse have a creation myth where a cosmic cow licks the first man free from the ice.
The irish have tales about the Partholon's coming to Ireland and creating more lakes, fields, and rivers.
All cultures have some sort of creation myth.

Almost every civilization has a story or stories that explains how the world came to be. These stories tend to reinforce that culture's particular religious views.
For example, the Australian aborigines tell of a giant snake that slithered across the land leaving lakes and rivers where it touched. In western civilization we have the Creation from the Bible, which is patterned off of an earlier creation myth.

Plenty of Creation Myths out there.
Depends on who your project is for to know what bias the teacher's looking for.
If the subject is "Religion" then I suggest just looking at the X-ian myth (maybe compared to Evolution - if you feel countervail)
But in reality, EVERY indigenous (historical & contemporary) culture has their Creation Myth. The Ancient Egyptians are one, The various Indian tribes have theirs.

A myth is a tale concerning gods or demi-gods and generally tells how something began. A creation myth is the basic one, for it tells about a gdeity creating the universe. There have been many of them. Sumerian and Babylonian ones are earliest. genesis in the bible has two different ones copied much from the Babylonian one. marduk was the babylonian cretor. moses who is said to've wrote Genesis had his god Yahweh do it.

Every culture has a creation myth. It's a way to explain how humanity came into existence, what is our purpose here and what Deities (God or Gods) expect from us.

How some fantasy regarding the advent of the admired-day warriors. To be extra particular how regarding the army seals. leaping out of air planes at 30 000 ft, making use of a laser pointer to steer in clever bombs like Zeus throwing a lights bolt. It some thing that i could think of could properly be pulled off very easily. bypass them off as a supernatural stress that could drop from the sky or upward push from the waters, popping out purely at evening to declare their enemy's. possibly bypass off the united states as a mythological international like Atlantis or some thing. look the army seals up. There are some cool movies on them too.

It's basically the 1st book of the bible (Genesis) which tells you how God created the world in 7 days. That's a very popular topic which you should be able to find in any library. Good luck!!!
