i suggest you look up each topic, here is a list of many topics in logic, with links to info on them

basically, for logic, you look at the parts, exam them, to arrive at conclusions, you leave out feelings and fallacies

syllogism is inference, such as dogs bark, Spot is a dog, Spot barks
