When was the last time you had your period? Since we usually don't ovulate until 14 days after the first day of our period, and implantation doesnt occur until a week after that.. I would say wait a full 4 weeks to do your first test
But if you have plan to drink alcohol or things like that.. take a test as soon as possible, you can't be too cautious.
Depo screws up your cycle so maybe you're just feeling bloated and cranky, thats a symptom of what DEPO does..
I would say that 3 weeks isn't long enough to take a test but you could try it?
And no, DEPO isn't 100% fool proof, no contraceptive is 100% going to prevent pregnancy. So it's possible -- but unlikely that you are pregnant.

Even if you don't have periods you should still keep track of when you would if you weren't on Depo. I don't know your cycle history so you need to see your doctor. The best way to go is to have a blood test done.
Please don't listen to the people who say you can't get pregnant on Depo. I was on it for 5 years STRAIGHT with no periods and I got pregnant. It IS possible.

IT IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE TO GET PREGNANT ON THE DEPO.................. MY 6 YEAR OLD IS MY PROOF. Its very possible. Id test as soon as you think you are and retest in 2 weeks , but it might not show up right away.
