Think ahead too much some of the time, which is probably a good thing in a sense, such as planning for the future and trying to lay things out...There are times when my thinking drives me nuts and makes me regret things that I should done in the past, wishing that I could have rectified the errs of yester year and being pleased with the results...Some of the time thinking much also causes me to be harsh on my self in terms of assuming that I had went on to completing a few things in life i.e. going foward to establish own business. Completing Bachelor's degree...regreting that I opened so many credit card accounts.lol...(like who doesn't). There are those times I think to little though, but guess that run down pretty much explained it's self in that aspect. Pretty good question...gets people a thinkin' lol. Take care!

One cannot think too much - but sometimes, like a muscle, the mind/brain can be overtaxed and go into spasm. Circular thoughts can go racing round the brain like a mad bazaar of different scraps of music that seem to have a relationship with each other but you can't get them by the tail. Then it's time to take time off, go for a walk, do anything to give your mind a different focus or none at all - so you can come back refreshed to meditate perhaps, so you can focus again. But if you find yourself avoiding thought, you know you are thinking too little - and then it's time to speak gently to the "little elephant of the mind" and remind it that only by walking can it walk again. Have a great whatever, yourself.

Unfortunately it seems to depend on what mood I am in. More often I take a predictive intuitive decision and sail along with that for a while, patching things up along the way. Was a time though, when I thought far too much prolly to the point of paranoia ... but laying off the mary jane and finding my love resolved those circumstances rapidly :)
At this point, I think I may have thought too much about your question so, I;ll leave it at this. See ya!

Good morning Moon, hope you are doing great this fine morning.
I think way too much and it keeps me up at night I hate it sometimes. But then I email Gazpacho like crazy and bug him with my thoughts :)
It is only at this time that I love the fact that Gaz is in a different timezone.
Thanks Moon and have a wonderful day and weekend ;)

Sometimes. I have this habit of overanalyzing things at times, trying to see all perspectives, or all sides of it. Sometimes I wish I could just keep things simple and be able to see the simple solution of it immediately, rather than having to ponder on each side of it to come to a conclusion. But I guess it could be a positive thing in some situations. And I also think too much at times regarding something someone has said to me, or an E-mail I have received. I start thinking "Now why did they say that? Are they mad? Did I say something to offend them? " Or I think about something that I have said to someone else, and think "Oh, I hope that they didn't take that the wrong way!" or "I hope that didn't give them the wrong impression! " I find this really annoying about myself. I just have to remind myself that if I accidentally offended someone, it was never my intentions, so no need to beat myself up over it- just continue to be myself. It usually ends up being nothing. Just part of myself I need to work on. :)

Hi Moon,
Too much probably but I love to use my mind.
The mind is like an untamed animal but we can discipline it and control our thoughts with practice. Concentration and meditation might help us clear the mind of things we don’t want to think about and focus our thoughts in a certain direction. Everything that happens to us, every word that’s said, song we hear, thing we see has an impact on our mind and produces thoughts. We’re constantly picking up information from outside. Sometimes our thoughts go down channels we don’t want them to go in and we have to learn to stop the flow of thoughts. I’m constantly thinking on a lot of different subjects. In a way it's therapeutic for me because keeping busy and keeping my mind occupied stops me from thinking of a loved-one in dangerous circumstances overseas. (except a radio bulletin has just announced more horrible news from that area!) - Not going to think about it!!!!
Most of the time I can control my thoughts. If they get too disruptive I might go for a walk, pick up a book (to focus my thoughts elsewhere) and I’ve also found Reike helps relax me.

the answer has to be YES! I think too much, but I think about too little might be more accurate. I get obsessed wtih trivia and tend to gloss over things that matter because they aren't as interesting? I don't know, but it is an interesting cunundrum. I'll have to think bout it for awhile I guess (LOL)

I am guilty!
I could spend hours just thinking of all the possible implications of a specific cirumstance, the outcomes, the options, etc....
Sometimes I forget to live the moment (carpe diem), but I am learning and I am moved by an incredible Love at the moment, which helps a lot...
Thanks for the good wishes
Same to you xx

Sometimes, too little -- Like when I say or do something without giving it enough thought.
Othertimes, too much -- Like when I over analyze a situation more than it is really worth.

I agree with Ziggyman. It is quite possible to over-think a question. Note how long many of my answers are, and you will see that I am guilty of this. Besides, I have been told all my life that I think too much, so it must be so, eh?
