some women have allergies to semen. it's not very common, but sometimes the body can react to it. there may not be an obvious effects, although infertility can result. on the other hand, burning, itching, etc... what you would expect from an allergic reaction can sometimes occur.

If you are looking at the larger question of the phsiological effects of SPERM, then I am pretty sure pregnancy is the only one.
The act of sexual intercourse, however is a different matter. The ejaculate is a bodily fluid, in which can be found numerous infectious components, from HIV to chlamydia. Just search under sexually transmitted diseases. Other infections such as syphilis, gonorrhea and hepatitis can also be passed on through the act of having sex, although the SPERM, technically only have the job of carrying genetic material to an egg to fertilize it.
Physiologically, sex increases heart rate, causes endorphins released from the pituitary gland cause a high in the brain chemistry (making you feel great) and there are numerous physical signs if the point of orgasm is reached, chest flushing, hardening of nipples, sweating and muscle contractions.
The only other thing I can think of is that semen can affect the delicate pH balance inside the vagina reducing the ability to fight infection and this can result in yeast infections.

It depends, if a man and a woman (husband and wife) are having sex without trying to have children then the physiological effects are practically none existent.
However, to someone that is being her sex life there are many things that could go through her mind, pregnancy and STDs are just a few things.
You are asking about physiological effects such as a change in mood or behavior then it depends on the age and sexual experience of that person.
