Yes, it's the little things that mean a lot :)

I still have the love letters my grandmother and grandfather sent eachother during WW1. They are so romantic and full of little descriptions of what they did, the places they had been together, and of the little gifts he gave her.
They were happily married for 62 years!

Yes. Like coming home after two nights away and finding a vase full of roses with an 'I Miss You' card.......or.....finding a little note under your pillow or in the fridge, saying goodnight or good morning.

Yes they most certainly do...everything starts out little...
and sometimes when things get too much to handle, it's the simple lil things that leave a lasting impact,...
...a smile from a complete stranger...
...a kindly word of appreciation...

Yes they can. It is the little things which are given freely which you can't buy.
They can mean more to you than expensive gesture which you know they are only doing it because they want something.
