Ha ha ha!!! You've been spying on me, haven't you? I have about 200 'made up' songs and I intend the world to hear them one day. I mean, I really don't know how you can all still go on living without hearing all my songs about bodily functions!!! lol
Ok, seeing as you are all desperate, here's the one I've been singing full volume this morning:
"Sing to me of urine,
Sing to me of ure-out,
Sing to me of pee pees,
Sing to me of poo poos!"
By the way, the neighbours on both sides of me have their houses up for sale! I wonder why... lol
Addendum for whoever is responsible: Thanks for the thumbs down! Keep them coming idiots! I am honest and this is how I am rewarded. Very nice...

I sing whatever song comes into my mind, whatever I do. But I could not remember tunes that I made up. It's true that when I hear a song, it sticks in my mind for quite a while, but never those that I made up. I have a big problem; most of the things I see, hear or whatever are filed in my short term memory, so I easily forget. But when I hear it from other places, or if I hear it repeatedly, I'll easily remember it.

I can answer for my own motivation. I sing when I am happy or at peace and I do it to signal that. Otherwise, because such feelings are fleeting, I might not remember that I was happy for 3 minutes, yesterday. I will remember that I was singing.
"Who's peeking out from under a stairway? Everyone knows it's Windy!" The Association. Thanks for the question. C. :)!!

My made up ones are not very good. I usually sing songs like 'unchained melody' or I've made up lyrics to the Indiana Jones theme that I sing to my infant son when I pick him up and go adventuring around the house when he wakes up in the morning all crying.

I can see clearly now that rain has gone
I can see obstacles in my way
gone are the dark clouds that made me blind
gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day
and
Oh, daddy, wontcha take me back to mullenberg mountain
down by the green river, near Paradise way?
Well, I'm sorry, my son, but it's too late for asking,
Mr. Peabody's coal train has hauled it away.
those are two that I sing often
thanks and here's one I made up for my little dog who was unhappy because we had to move to a new home and was sitting next to me in my pick up and refusing to look at me!
he's name is scrabble, a little white dog from a kennel
Oh, scrabbie has fleas,
on his knees
and on his toes
as everybody knows
Scrabbie has fleas
on his nose
Poor scrabbie has fleas
thanks
as everbody knows
Scrabbie has fleas

Yes, I think you do. My husband has certain songs he sings and hums and even whistles. And so do I but we only do so when we are happy so if you are singing you must be happy too :-)

I sing tunes to myself. But people around me don't always like it. I think I do this more when I am stressed.

Yes, I do the same.
Why, well because humans are creative animals... We all have the capability of being creative and sometimes can be comfortable of doing so in our own private place like the shower, the kitchen, cleaning... et cetera.

I usually hum circus music.

Check it out and see if you can get it outta your head.
It's normal to hum/whistle familiar music that reassures or makes you feel good, especially when alone.
