We need for puja and to apply on forehead,especially scented and good quality ones.

u've got to go to shirdi for that.. or if u just want plain vibhuti(ash) just have a havan in ur house n collect the vibhuti(ash) or u can also collect plain vibhuti(ash) from any south indian temple in mumbai since most have havans on fridays and auspicious days..

There are few temples near Matunga Railway Station in Central Railway. You can buy all Pooja items from the stores situated near the temples. You can ask anybody near the station about these shops and they will guide you.

*i think that if u go to Matunga [C. Rly.], there are many s/indian temples ..... some of them might help u ..... or they can guide u to the place where u will get the vibhuti !!!!!
OR u can burn some good quality incense
sticks [agarbatti] at home only, & collect the vibhuti thus obtd. !!!!!!
