HAHA nice creative question :)) Ok lets see when I was younger I always tried to stay within the lines when I was coloring & of course that was extremely hard to do because sometimes I would color outside the lines but as I got older and with practice I learned to color inside better I guess you could say that I like things to be in order and not chaos so I still color myself inside the lines but there are times that I say freak this and color myself outside the lines you can not be to strict about it sometimes you need to go outside the lines of your life to see where the heck you are and what the heck your coloring hahahehe nice question makes me feel like a little girl again hahahehe have a nice weekend

I suppose not. In all my self-portraits, I am coloured inside the lines. I like to imagine myself somewhat daring & unconventional but when it comes down to it I'm actually quite conservative...I remember when I was little, my coloring books had to be perfect. I couldn't go outside the lines. Then a girl went and scribbled across the page and it was a mess & made me cry. I guess I was a born control freak...ha

I do color myself outside the lines but not outside the canvas or the paper. Then when I realize out that I have colored outside the lines, I crumple the paper and start anew.

Yes i do. Just like my three year-old daughter who is learning to write and learn to color. Life is full of colors you have to learn it shades of color in life. The coloring outside the lines shows how imperfect a person is. As we go through our life you learn not to go beyond those lines, That i think makes a life colorful.

...I stand outside the lines and look inward
...Sometimes I take my yellow crayon and colour inside another's lines - to help brighten it up in there - shine a little sunshine for them
...Sometimes I take my eraser and help to erase part of another's line, helping them to see the escape route
....Rarely do I stand within the lines looking out -- for I realize that the most harmful thing I could do to myself is draw self imposed boundaries that don't allow me to continue to grow, expand & learn beyond those limits
......and if truth be told, sometimes I stand outside another's lines, put my thumb on my nose, hold the other four fingers up and while wiggling them I chant, "na na na na boo boo"
:)

LIke putting on lipstick beyond lip line??? Just joking!!!
I don't generally smudge, I am that careful. But only once in my life did I dye someone in my colour unwittingly and unknowingly and was dyed in his completely in return. The colour is so fast it refuses to fade..........And I don't want it to.
