it has to do with the language you grew up on so for a spanish speaking person the sound of laughing sounds like the letter j try pronouncing it and then try to do the math when i was taking French in high school my teacher tolled the class that French people make different sound effects for animal noices because of their language samething for any other language

Evreytime Im on MSN talking to one of my German friends they would be like "jajajaja" instead of "lol".
Oh wellsh.
And whats wrong with laughing like that?
we say "haha"? Same thing.

because "jaja" equals "haha" that's how it is pronounced in spanish.
