Everyone once in a while I like to debate with home owners about there "great investment". For years, I've been badgered by others to pursue the "great invesment". I still choose the "Life investment".

Life investor: Well...I'm going fishing and camping for a couple of weeks...Cya !

Home owner: Wow, thats great but I got fix the plumbing and do some painting and I need to be at work to pay the mortgage !

Life investor: I'm taking off to Thailand to backpack for 45days in a few months

Home owner: When I 'm retired someday I hope to get over there too...

I could go on and on.....lol.

Bangkokslim reminding you to:

Invest in your life, invest in the market, be free.

P.S. Don't join the endless zombies ! Buy a home...buy a home....you must buy a home....lol.

Thailand to backpack? If that's your idea of fun then that's very sad dude.
Fishing and camping? Just bought an apartment in some beautiful mountains by a lake, this is about 20kms from some of the beast coastside in the world with beautiful beaches and next to NO delinquency.
I am not rich, most people will spend 5 times as much money as I have spent for my apartment just to buy a CAR.

What you are saying is not exactly true. Most homeowners I know take vacations and have very full lives. Besides that, I made over $300K selling my last home...did you?

I know someone that had that philosophy. they came down with a rare liver disease and I thought if he dies he will sure have lived to the hilt without having to follow the rat race. However, he lived.
